THE HIGHLIGHT REEL ⬇️

Round 3 — Myers' Takeover

Round 3 was dominated by Bill and Deb Myers' stallions, A Smooth Guy and Frenchmans Guy.

AM Regina George by A SMOOTH GUY and Carlee Otero showed us what they're really capable of. After catching barrels to win checks in the first two rounds, this team came back on a mission running a 13.54 to win round 3.

Emily Beisel made the switch to Teasin Dat Guy aka "Chewy" in Round 3 and good thing she did because they clocked a 13.56 to win 2nd and add $28,890 to their LTE and NFR earnings. Chewy is by legendary $20 Million Dollar Sire, FRENCHMANS GUY.

Round 5 — A Smooth Guy Owns The Night

A Smooth Guy offspring didn't just win the round, they won 1st AND 2nd, totaling $62,099 for the round—not bad for 15 minutes of barrel racing!

Carlee and AM Regina George got their 2nd round win of the week with a 13.43.

Halyn Lide’s great horse Jettin Ta Heaven, aka “Keeper,” by RVR standing stallion JL Dash Ta Heaven, unfortunately had to stay home due to the EHV outbreak. After winning $144,614.31 this season and qualifying for the NFR, having to leave her #1 teammate behind made that Round 5 check on Smooth As Rico Suave, by A Smooth Guy, a little bit sweeter.

Owned by Kappie Bryant, “Pancakes” is the perfect example of an A Smooth Guy offspring, showcasing both grit and speed. After only a couple of runs together, the pair found their timing and stride in Round 5, stopping the clock at 13.55 and winning over $25,000.

Round 6 — JL Dash Ta Heaven Reminds Us Why He's An $11.5 Million Dollar Barrel Racing Sire

Heavens Got Credit aka "Cornbread" by Legendary Land & Livestock's stallion, JL Dash Ta Heaven, helped Kassie reclaim the aggregate lead by running a 13.42 and winning the round! This check brings Cornbread's lifetime earnings to just under $300,000.

Royal Vista Ranch is proud—and deeply honored—to see our program thriving across industries.

Owner, Cole Morehead, reflects on the significance of being a leader in Quarter Horse racing while also becoming home to some of the most influential sires in barrel racing.

"Royal Vista Ranch has always had a focus in the racehorse breeding world, but with my personal interest in the rodeo/western performance horse events it just means so much to me to see our stallion roster dominate on both the race track and in the super bowl of rodeo. It's been really fun to tune into the Cowboy Channel every night to cheer them all on. I cannot thank enough our stallion owners and all of the breeders who have supported Royal Vista Ranch the last several years!"

With 4 rounds still to go, we look forward to seeing what else our incredible stallion roster accomplishes in Vegas. Goodluck to all competitors, owners and breeders—we will be watching and cheering for you!
