Attention RVR Clients

As many of you are aware, the recent EHV outbreak has raised concerns across the industry. To protect every horse on the property and maintain the safest possible environment, Royal Vista Ranch is implementing new biosecurity protocols for all incoming horses beginning December 11th, 2025.

These protocols have been developed in consultation with our two on-staff licensed veterinarians along with guidance from multiple third-party veterinary and industry resources to ensure we are following the strongest, most responsible practices.

To ensure smooth scheduling and compliance, please review the updated requirements below:

✅ Health certificate dated within 30 days of arrival
✅ Negative Coggins within 6 months of arrival
✅ Horses that do not have one or both of the above will be unloaded in our designated holding area across the road from the main ranch
✅ A physical exam and SAA test will be performed upon arrival
✅ Each horse will have their temperature taken and recorded

If any results fall outside acceptable ranges, the horse will either be placed into quarantine or the owner may choose to return the horse home. Quarantine and additional testing will be required until satisfactory results are achieved.

These steps are being taken to safeguard every horse entrusted to us. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep our ranch safe and healthy.
