Los Alamitos Equine Sale Recap

The 2025 Los Alamitos Equine Sale wrapped up on a high note, grossing an impressive $7,021,700. The sale average climbed once again, reaching $45,595, a new record and a solid increase from last year’s mark of $44,876. A total of 154 yearlings changed hands over the weekend, marking another successful event for the West Coast market.

A major highlight of this year’s sale was the debut consignment from our great friends, Rancho El Cabresto, INC., whose six spectacular yearlings sold for a combined $879,000. Landing them as the #3rd Leading Consignor with only a fraction of the consignment.

Once again, Apollitical Jess proved why he continues to define excellence in the sales ring. With six standout yearlings averaging $157,667, he led all sires by average price and placed three in the Top 10 Highest Sellers of the sale.
