Champion Sire Apollitical Blood Moves To Oklahoma


WAYNE, OK–SEPTEMBER 25, 2023–


Champion and champion sire Apollitical Blood SI 99, an 11-year-old son of leading sire Apollitical Jess, has been relocated to Royal Vista Ranch, Inc. in Wayne, Oklahoma. He will stand for a 2024 fee of $10,000.

"I truly respect the Robicheaux Ranch team and everything they have done for Blood up to this point. We feel very blessed to be a part of his future story here in Oklahoma."

Owned by Rancho El Cabresto, Inc. Apollitical Blood will be joining his sire Apollitical Jess at Royal Vista Ranches, Inc. "My family and I are very thankful to the Robicheaux Family for doing an excellent job with Apollitical Blood for eight years and we thank all the Louisiana Breeders who supported us," Rancho El Cabresto owner Juan Tirado said. "Our decision to move the stallion is based on my family and I moving to Oklahoma. We are excited about having our three stallions in Oklahoma and expanding opportunities for breeders in the state."

Apollitical Blood led his sire class in progeny earnings through his second-crop and third-crop seasons and has steadily been ranked on the general leading sires lists since 2020.


From five crops to race Apollitical Blood has sired 207 winners, 56 black type (18%), 1 champion, earners of over $12.5 million with average earnings of more than $40,000 per starters.


His top performers include AQHA Racing Champion Two-Year-Old Gelding Trump My Record SI 104 (13 wins to 3, $979,068 Texas Classic Futurity-G1, Sam Houston Futurity-G2, Harrah's Futurity-G3, etc.), Apollitical Patty SI 99 (8 wins to 3, $1,243,263 Los Alamitos 2 Million Futurity-G1, Los Alamitos Oaks-G3, etc.), Blood Money SI 101 (7 wins at 2, $1,123,142 LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity-RG1, Lee Berwick Futurity-RG1, etc.), Candy Blood SI 108 (9 wins to 5, $482,010 Dee Raper Sooner State S.-G1, etc.), San Lorenzo Moon SI 92 (3 wins to 3, $373,118 LQHBA Sale Futurity-G1, etc.), etc.


At the track, Apollitical Blood won or placed in nine of 14 starts and earned $1,519,000. He was named the AQHA Racing Champion 3-Year-Old Colt in 2015 with wins in the All American Derby(G1). He was second in the Golden State Million Futurity(G1) and a finalist in the All American Futurity(G1), Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity, Ed Burke Million Futurity(G1) and Texas Classic Derby(G1).

Apollitical Blood is out of the G2-placed Fishers Dash mare Brazillian Dasher SI 93 ($97,935), dam of 6 ROM winners, 4 black type winners including champion Apollitical Blood SI 99 (see above), stakes winner Captain BD SI 116 ($82,346), stakes winner Apollitical Legacy SI 89 ($25,975) and stakes winner Apollitical Dynasty SI 87 ($21,830).

Brazillian Dasher is also the granddam of Louisiana Downs Futurity (G3) winner Ponte Trucha SI 92 ($245,801 at 2).


The second dam is Grade 1 Charger Bar Handicap winner Dinastia Toll BRZ SI 97 ($191,896) by Tolltac.
