Ivory Bac Sets Seconds Fastest Time In Baxter Andruss Futurity Trials at Portland Meadows

PORTLAND, OR—NOVEMBER 26, 2018—Ivory Bac, a two-year-old owned by Connie Chumbley, conditioned by Scott Raley and ridden by veteran jockey Robert Burney posted the second fastest time in the $20,000 Baxter Andruss Futurity Sunday afternoon at Portland Meadows.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from the two trial races will return to Portland Meadows on Sunday, December 16 to contest the 400 yard final.

In the opening trial Ms. Chumbley's IVORY JAMES filly Ivory Bac got away well under Burney then rushed the wire in the second fastest clocking of :20.243 seconds, a 93 speed index.

The Gary Chumbley Estate homebred got her first career win in five starts this season. She is out of the Splash Bac mare Sneak Back.
