Heart Of The Cartel sired the fastest qualifier for the $100,000 QHRAI Derby at Indiana Grand on Thursday.


WAYNE, OK-SEPTEMBER 24, 2018- In Royal Vista Stallion News over the weekend Tres My Heart, a 3-year-old by HEART OF THE CARTEL posted the fastest time for the $100,000 QHRAI Derby at Indiana Grand (see related story).

Ivory Runnin, by IVORY JAMES from the Check Him Out mare Checkimout Taryn, qualified for the $100,000 Governor's Stakes at Indiana Grand. Leonardo Alcala is the owner-breeder and trainer and Uriel Cervates had the riding call. The 350 yard final will be run back October 27.

Had To Be Ivory and Peepl R Krazi, both 3-year-olds by IVORY JAMES, qualified for the $70,000 Picov Derby at Ajax Downs.

Carol and Jamie Robertson are the owner/breeders of Had To Be Ivory. Bryn Robertson trains and Tony Phillips was aboard the gelding out of Had To Be Fandango by Hadtobenuts.

Peepl R Krazi races fr owner Debbie Strebig and trainer Jason Pascoe. Bobby Cox is the breeder and Nakia Ramirez had the riding call. The Texas-bred filly is out of Jess Celebrating by Mr Jess Perry.

Dominyun Cartel, a 2-year-old colt by DOMINYUN from the Corona Cartel mare Dreamers Cartel, racing for owner/breeder Brian Gunder qualified for the $150,000 Miss Roxie Little Futurity at Indiana Grand. Erin Thompson trains with Jose Beltran riding. The finals are set for October 27.
